The warm, welcoming atmosphere of Modena Green Oaks and the genuine sense of connection among residents and staff is what drew Deborah. Now as Director of Sales and Marketing, she helps guide families through difficult and emotional decisions, drawing from her own personal journey with her parents.

“Being involved in their decisions and understanding the challenges families face gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of supportive communities,” says Deborah. “That experience has shaped my passion for helping other families feel informed, supported, and confident when making similar decisions.”

Compassion drives Deborah. “Meeting with families, being able to listen, understand their concerns, and help them see how supportive community can enhance their loved one’s quality of life is incredibly meaningful to me,” she says. “Compassion means truly understanding and caring about what others are going through. Leading with compassion allows me to listen, and support seniors and their families through the transition into a senior community.”

Deborah has been in sales for 25 years and received her Paralegal License from Roosevelt University. In her spare time, she loves listening to 70’s music, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Ideal vacation? “A month in Italy, visiting the regions where my family came from.”
