Nedashia brings an extensive list of credentials to her position at Modena Green Oaks, including certifications as a CNA, CDP, and MOA with experience in hospitality, memory care, and assisted living. Now as Resident Care Coordinator for assisted living, she finds what she most enjoys are the residents.

“They bring me so much joy,” she says. “They make me laugh, and each day it’s a new story to tell. The residents keep me on my toes, and I love that about them.”

For Nedashia, communication and compassion speak strongest. “If there’s no communication between staff and residents, nothing can be done correctly. And if you don’t have any compassion, residents aren’t cared for correctly.”

When she’s not helping residents, Nedashia spends every second of her spare time with her one-year-old daughter. “I love bonding and doing fun things and going places with her, making memories,” she says. She also enjoys hosting gatherings of family and friends at her house; catching up and laughing. And as a licensed cosmetologist, Nedashia loves doing hair.

Perfect vacation? A warm place with sand and a boat.
