Natasha Theodore, Executive Director
Growing up without grandparents, Natasha often watched friends cherish special times with their grandparents and felt the absence of those type of moments. The experience sparked a passion for serving seniors and a lifetime commitment to “ensuring older adults feel valued, supported, and connected,” says Natasha.
“Spending the last 20 years in the senior living industry has been very fulfilling. Solera Senior Living has been on my radar for a while as I have seen them grow and become successful in the Chicago market,” she says.
Natasha’s journey in senior living began as a Lead Concierge and later Sales Specialist in the community and corporate levels. “This allowed me to connect with residents and families in a compassionate way as I assisted them with the biggest decision of their lives. I’ve always found great joy in making a meaningful difference, whether helping residents navigate new technology, learning about their careers and families, or simply being a steady and compassionate presence.”
The core value of communication speaks true to Natasha, who believes it the foundation of every successful relationship. “Open and timely communication builds trust, strengthens community, and creates an environment where residents, team members, and families thrive.”
Born and raised in Chicago, Natasha is a loyal fan of the Cubs and the Bears. A self-proclaimed sport enthusiast, she has set a goal of visiting all 30 NFL stadiums before turning 50—and is well on her way. She also loves exploring Chicago’s vibrant restaurant scene, traveling, and discovering new cultures through food. Family time is also important. The youngest of eight children born to Haitian immigrants, she is the proud mother of Mariah Naomi, who continues to inspire Natasha every day.
Natasha attended Oakton Community College. She received her Associate Degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Media, and Theater with a minor in Mass Media from Northeastern Illinois University. Natasha also interned at WGN Radio Chicago.
